Journey Of Life

 

It was like just another day 

When I woke up ,

looked outside the window

To feel the morning air

to see the rising sun....The light of dawn 

 

There she was..

waiting for sum1, busy in her thoughts,

  I dunno for what

I felt a sensation in my heart

who was she ?? why was she there in front my house

 

I ran outside.

It was like an endless path..

I kept running....

 

What was going on?? 

  was I hallucinating??

I could feel her.. smell her in the air

Her touch in my dreams 

Was my mind playing tricks on me...

Am i not me ? .. or sum1 is controlling me ??

 

 I looked outside again..

This time in her eyes.

 I felt a pain, was she feeling the same ??

  I need to find out

 I didn't stop running

 

 The atmosphere around me changes rapidly

  seemed like i was in a time machine

I met various people on my path,

      I could not stop asking every one ,

who passed by me , about her 

but no one was able help me !!

I was getting frustated !!

 

The clock was ticking.. but i kept on running ..

I decided to take a shortcut

I tried to jump

but sum1 stopped me..

I heard a voice in my mind

My inner soul was speaking to me...

 

The voice was fade but i could make out the words 

"DONT GIVE UP"  

 

I followed my soul,

changed my path..

She was my destiny.. my hope.. my aim

What If i give up now ??..

Alas ! i shouldnt have woke up to be so perplexed

 

Evil thoughts crept into my mind

Trying to pull me , turn me ..

take me back.. sucking all my energy

 I was getting exhausted... my legs were tired

I was unable to cope up with my dream

 

but I have to get up

overpower those evil feelings

 then only I can get my love ,my life

This is the only chance I got..

  I had to make use of it

 

then I saw a person standing beside me

 full of energy.. enthusiasm ,

when I looked at his face I was shocked....

It was me

 

Gosh !! I had changed ....

My inner soul was there to help me

To show me the way, to reach my desire.....

I got up... and walked towards her ..

 

closer, closer to her ....

I was happy.. now i could meet her... talk to her

I looked back ,

she was still there seems

like she was waiting for me

 

I realised the time had changed 

I walked past the mirror

I saw an old  person .. with hope in his eyes ,

 but how could it be possible.... how could he get old ??

 I started my journey today !!

 

How could the clock run so fast ?? 

I had no answers

 the only way to find out.. was to meet her

I was weak... my throat was burning

 my heart was throbbing!!

I was just few yards away from her 

 

She saw me, stood up from her place 

 and walk towards me

I could see her silhouette

I was stunned ! My lips were locked !

The only thing I could feel

was she getting close to me .

 

I could smell her scent in the air

she came closer

i took a few steps forward 

I was there !

 

I felt cold..

I wanted to embrace her ,

feel the warmth of my love

but I was old, feeble

and she was young

 

Why would she accept me ??

I wanted to tell her how much I loved her

my whole life was gone thinking about her

even in my dreams...

since the day i was born

 

my legs were trembling

the pain in my heart increased

I collapsed !!

I was loosing my consiousness

 

she came near me

whispered in my ear

 

"I'LL MEET YOU IN HEAVEN"

 

and then she dissolved in air

my eyes closed

but my mind was still awake

now I can rest in peace !!

 

I was going to meet her

In another world, another dimension.

far better than this

 

I had finally achieved my destiny :) :)
