Why now?

Why now?

A Poem by kaylyn

Sitting in the quietness of my bedroom,
Hearing the pitter patter of you feet storming back to my room.
Grabbing the blanket using it as a shield,
As you come into the darkness of my dungeon,
Swinging at me.
Picking my a*s up, throwing me against the wall,
Hearing the thud of my head smashing against the wall.
Tears flow down my face as a water flows down a river,
Smacking me  crying more and more.
Storming out, the slamming of the doors begin,
My door, but a sock gets in the way so you pick it up and throw it at me.
Trying again t just make a point you slam it,
And the loud WACK! Of the door frightens Roxy.
Crying listening to you slam the cabnits in the kitchen.
Sitting here thinking what I must have done.
Never really knowing why .
