Ending it all

Ending it all

A Poem by kaylyn

End it all!
I wanna feel the dagger on my wrist,
Ripping through my skin,
Ripping my vains open.
Blood dripping,
Running down my arm,
Deeper and deeper I go,
 The less I feel.
Becoming numb to the cruel world,
Darker and darker it becomes,
I  hear my name being yelled in a panic.
Feeling hands on me, I refuse to open my eyes.
Can’t  open my eyes, if I do all the pain will return.
Don’t want to see the pain in your eyes,
All the hurt I caused, gotta just end it all.
I can’t do this anymore.
I open my eyes, but to see you sitting there crying over my body.
I look into your eyes, and tell you that I love you… Trying to fight on now,
You kiss my lips and tell me that you love me too.
All the pain returning, blood all over me
And now all over you too.
I tell you that I love you slowly closing my eyes.
Hearing you cry, I finally do it.
I let go of all the pain, and I go to my final resting state.

Intense.

Its important that poetry and writing be diverse. There is a need for darker fare like this. I felt it deep within.

Well done.
