Doctor doctor...

Doctor doctor...

A Poem by Matt Fellows

Have I already tried it?

Steamroll over me with doubt,

Pincers trying to grab at salt,

Have you ever tried a shovel?

Oh wait you’re underwater, maybe distilling?

I bit my tongue so maybe I should drink instead of eat,

Fingers of coal fed the fire that scorched my mouth with liquid,

Pull round your coat to protect from the sun,

Sun block doesn’t last,

Cracked palms perhaps try to be calm,

I noticed a change but maybe I should have avoided it,

Oh wait I have already tried that one.
