Tongue of led...

Tongue of led...

A Poem by Matt Fellows

Teach unto the mind and speak the hereafter,

Distractions are key but walls of sound set you free,

Fists can’t wrap around my mind but sire the b***h can,

Hanging around at my gate screaming distended hate,

Outstretched hands need to reach for something,

A cigarette to be as relaxed as I can get,

Sticking in my throat the truth chakras know what’s up,

Getting under my skin my patience wears thin,

When I insist on straining their unkept silence through the filters of reality,

Lies surround my head reaching paper from pointed tongues of led,

A pencil may you ask?
