What the hell

What the hell

A Poem by U N I C O R N S AND Z E B R A S

They say that happiness comes
But I try everything,
All I get is tears.
They say that families get better
But I try,
And all I get is called names
and verbally and emotionally abused.
I just don't understand,
Life, happiness?
No.
Sometimes I wish I was Monte,
My family wouldn't be in pieces
so much without me,
But without him
We can't function.
He was the nicest boy in the world
He had everything for him,
Me; who knows what the hell
I'm going to do after high school?
They say I'm not making it to college Like them,
but what if I prove them wrong,
And I leave their sights?
Do you think they'll find way to
Piece themselves back together?
Seems like I'm only in their way.
I just don't know how to go a
Day without them making me cry.

The best way to stop myself from crying is writing about things. Thi is what I've come up with. Just more poems about me being unhappy. Hmmm, my life?
