A Kiss of Innocence

From whatever may be afar 

 to whatever is closest to my heart

 I must start with you; 

 As you take your first step
Surely to fall. 

Careful not to hurt yourself 

 Surely you'll find a way to 

 Walk and perhaps one day 

 Dancing, twirling ever so peacefully. 

 Your life is like a kiss of innocence, 

 Soft beautiful and pure, 

 But will not last longer than imagine.

You're life will be a fast blur, 

One second your happy and just a kid

Before you notice your 

innocence will be all gone. 

You'll fight with your mom, 

yell at your dad

inside you know it's all out of love

that they do this. 

They'll make you angry

and yell at the top of your lungs.

But when worst comes to worst

Their always there.
