Falling From Grace

Falling From Grace

A Poem by Mockingjay
"

Part 2... 5 years later

"

With hate I stand because in your face,

I see the angels fall from grace.

The vile of scent, the unrelenting,

the demons inside me never-ending.

My innocence I will betray,

the good won't live another day.

The beauty within I will defile,

disgust enough will be worthwhile.

The silent killer will claim my life,

my skin I will cut with a knife.

Peel back the false, the outter layer,

my blood will scream 'I am the slayer'.

Sow evil spawn on hallowed ground,

cry bitter tears upon each mound

and when the pain is washed away,

I will begin the darker day.

Protect no more what isn't sacred,

hurt it till I look like hatred.

To hells gate i will own the key,

this is my world and reality.

Mockingjay,

Is it 'The vile scent of the unrelenting,
Demons deep inside me, never ending.'

'The silent killler will claim my life,
my skin will be cut with a knife.
Peel back the false outer layer
my bloor will scream 'I am the slayer'

Not criticisms, just trying to sort out your meaning.

I like it. It's well thought out and written. Consider illustrations.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

Sincerely, Cecil
