I've adapted to it

I've adapted to it

A Poem by Mr.Writer
"

Just some thoughts...

"

Crying…

I can’t stop crying

The tears never stop

They just keep streaming down my face like a river

And I don’t know why

So many thoughts roaming around my head

So many memories scrolling through like a magazine

I don’t care…

I don’t care about my parents fights;

how loud their voices reach

Higher than the waves of the ocean;

how they raise their hands at me if I don’t listen

I don’t care about that

I don’t care about anyone anymore

Not even myself

So much s**t going on in my life

And still, I don’t know why

It just happens

It consumes my soul as quick as someone binging their favourite tv show

Funny thing is, I’m not praying for it to stop

I’m just so used to feeling this way…

I’ve adapted to it

Easy to adapt to bad thoughts and places. hard to get-up and find reasons to go forward. I liked the honest and direct thoughts in the poetry. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

I'm glad you could relate, thank you!
This ..... This is ... Really sad....well kudos. .... Cause it makes the readers feel.... Beautifully conveyed the emotion......
The most saddening thing a person can say is I m used to it...
He's been into so much pain that now nothing seems painful as much...... there's nothing left to care...
I hope you haven't gone through this... But if you ever have... Or anything as such happens in future... Just try to not let yourself shatter...
Keep writing..
Stay happy..

no problem
The poem is fully showing your emotions....and the problem though they are existing but you're adapted to them....the pain is known to you, and so try to get away from it, instead of being adapted to it, because, at last it will hurt you, as it's hurt you now.
I wish you to keep smiling :)

Thank you Priyanshi!! :))
You have the reader from the beginning I fall through your tears. Even parents can forget they are conditioning you for the world and how you will evolve in your relationships. Take this with you and let it be the place you do not travel from the memory of this experience. Smile through the tears, laugh at the pain and know someday this will all make sense. A Brave write and God Bless

Thank you Sheer! :)
This is nicely written; simple yet potent.
But..NEVER adapt to it. Just saying...In case if it's non-fiction.
A good write all in all!

Lol thanks!
Critique: (So many thoughts roaming around my head) around in my head -- the preposition "around" is incorrect or unnecessary in this context
(how they raise their hands at me if I don’t listen) hands to me -- the preposition "at" is incorrect or unnecessary in this context

Review: This is a great writing exercise, it showcases your writing ability to express emotions with words. And the psychology of your thought process Bravo! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!

Thank you Bear!
We learn to live in pain. Remember that, the amount of suffering teaches you that amount of lesson and you emerge stronger. 'Adapting yourself to pain' is a relatable and true sentence well written.
