My scarred heart

My scarred heart

A Poem by Mr.Writer
"

My scarred heart...

"
I have pen and a paper
and a scarred heart

in that heart
there are still feelings

memories, that led to it's scarring
also to which I don't want to remember

and I'm trying to pour them out
onto this blank paper of mine

surprisingly
nothing comes out

I try again and still
can't write a word

as I'm too scared
of people's reactions

and to what they'll say about the words
coming from my scarred heart

We often find ourselves in the situation you depicted above. Wanna say something, but can't bring out a word. And that hurts seriously. Hope your scarred heart heels fast:)

Thank you Anastasia! :)
I am so happy to read this work....cause couldn't be active these days and I really missed writers care.... So ... as the poem is concerned great title...ofcourse not rhyming but who cares . Poetry doesn't have to always rhyme....its really beautiful..its neither too short not too long...its perfect. Strong emotion and the best part....it is so relatable to everyone...as all are writers here... Keep it up Shaan. Great work

Thank you so much Sam! :)
Yes! How true this is. How writing can spill out this side of you that is so tender, so vulnerable you want to hide it! But this is the most beautiful part about it. Thank you for sharing

I completely understand where you are coming from, I too use to be afraid of what other's might say about my writing, but we can's let others hold us back. We can and must write!

Yes, we can't let others hold us back!
Thank you Amber :)
you should not bother about others...just write what comes to you ... and let the words flow :)
the reason we write is not because we feel we are very well versed with poetry..its because we feel
we cant take it any more and we want it to express it some how ... so writing helps... then why think so much...

Anyone who joins Silente and his little SJW bully clan will get the same treatment. You will get the same treatment.

I really hate this feeling.. I'm sure we all know it too well, a relatable piece, wonderfully constructed
