A genuine smile (poem)

A smile under the ocean...

Imagine an ocean

swim to the bottom of it

and you'll find me

My body, numb and cold;

bloated and dirty

caressed by the fishes

Come back later;

you'll see me at the top

looking deadly

But, look closely;

as you'll see a smile

from that very face of mine

A smile that freed me

from all the pain it gave;

a genuine smile

This reminds me of "Swiss Army Man" for the simple reason of a bloated corpse in the sea smiling. I recommend checking it out, it's funny. But on to your poem, it was nice. I was imagining the body at the bottom being caressed by the fish. Refreshing in it's positive outcome in a way, thanks for sharing!
