Twas a good day (Poem)

'twas a good day

At the beach bay

Just you and I, were together

The sun gleamed at us forever

Our skin turned into a shade of tan

Our reactions were like we got hit by a pan 

My mouth watered looking at you 

And yours did too as if you were so hungry, that you could eat a zoo

You held my hand and pushed me towards you

You didn't let me go and pretended we were stuck like glue 

The handsome life guard peered at us, as if he were jealous

He even acted like he was just zealous

I chuckled and blushed

'twas a good day 

Haiku added:

I croak all day long

I'm mostly a shade of green

I have marble eyes 

WHO AM I?

Oh a froggy frog frog! I love the croak all day long thing. Your poem is indeed good. Good imagery and a funny one too. I pictured out a man who is cute and funny. Love the idea of it. "My mouth watered looking at you " This one got me out of my chair . Lol. Keep writing.
