A poem called Hope

A poem called Hope

Sad but inspirational poem

~Hope~

So happy, together and starry eyed, comfort in abundance not taken for granted.

Neglect then struck and so swiftly stole all sense.

Tender love, comfort and feelings lost,

rejection held fast with hesitance.

Duplicitous action and cruel isolation are the

Inception of this impaired existence.

Failed candour of the 'Potency' gives foolish support,

Sustaining their traitors incompetence.

Esurient for comfort,

Solicit mercy to please suspend this presence.

An omniscient stranger proffers a vision, or,

Is it a fools illusion mocking with nonsense?

A sapient 'King' on a righteous quest nurtures,

The vision with substance.

Consciousness, flesh, and spirit to replenish,

So much benevolence needed to heal this essence.

Ambivalent triumph forebodes tender love flowing,

And hope of fulfilling true quintessence.
