Thank You

Thank You

A Poem by Diane

Thank You

Doctors and nurses

Medical staff too

To the men and women

That proudly wear Blue

 To the Grocery store workers

And lab technicians too

We would like to thank you all

For the hard work you do

Putting your family at risk

Had to be extremely hard on you

This is a poem to say how much we appreciate you

For everything you have done

And everything you will do

We will keep you all in our thoughts

And our prayers too

When this is all over

We will never forget about you

And everything you do

My father lived through the Spanish flu and the great depression, but this has the capacity to be even worse. So many people are being incredibly brave right now while others are being incredibly stupid and irresponsible. This poem pays honor to those who deserve it.

This is a very nice tribute and thanks to those who every day put themselves in harm's way to help the rest of us.

Thank you so much
A wonderful poem shared dear Diane. My daughter had the virus twice. She worked in a nursing home as a nurse. The people who care for the sick. Are brave and kind. Thank you for sharing your amazing poetry and your thoughts.
