Circle of Love

Circle of Love

A Poem by Diane

The image I can’t erase

Nor would I want to in any case

It reminds me that life is short

It reminds me to fill my heart

Enjoy every moment from the start

Cause death will come and we will part

The image of death haunts me so

They say just don’t look

How can I not

That just how it goes

It’s the last time to say goodbye

And cry the most hurtful cry

Hold close the ones that you love

Hold dear to them without fear

When the time come

And they have gone away

Think of them most every day

They may be gone

But not forever

We will see them again

When our time comes to an end

They will wait for us

In heaven above

Inside the great gate

We call the circle of love.

Yes sir. Thank you for reading.
It could seems as a mad thing to plunge deeply into pain, to watch with wide staring eyes Lady Death who smiles at us, with her grinning awfull teeth. It could seem even more absurd, to do that in order to be happy, to feel alive and enjoy what is there of good in this life. But it is exaclty so and you make it clear to everyone with your brave verses. You rise your eyes toward the great Void and measure life as a joyful and blissful walk untill that point. And you underline the idea with haunting rhymes, stating that exactly because of that abyss, life is even brighter and worth fighting. Brave, indeed. Existentialism at its finest concept, but with pleasantly poetic verses. You won my feelings :)

Thank you again
Heartfelt and heartwarming.
Yes, we will see them, again--and won't it be glorious? The best people are, after all, on the other side.
An uplifting read, Diane!

I never plan out anything I write, it just happens. If I think about it I can't write a thing.
