I'm sick

I'm sick

A Poem by Diane

Let's do this now while my head is clear
Yesterday I don't remember
and today I don't care
The fever was High
That's all I can say
I was just happy to wake up today

The aching bones
A sore throat too.
one hundred and something fever
pained me all the way through
My mind played tricks
when my fever spiked
I was just happy to sleep that night.

Now that its over
It doesn't seem that bad
Next year I won't remember
And that's pretty sad.
