Pinocchio Living

Pinocchio Living

A Poem by Mr. Q

Blank face with empty stare
a quiet voice with silent tears
a fake smile and fake laugh
yes..no,
thank you please
hello and goodbye

The pain hides behind my eyes
and I give no more
no less than expected

I am the dead among the living,
a pinocchio among the the real boys.
Outside I live with the rest,
but inside I am dead.

Hey, I quite liked it. Somewhat sad and depressing, but in a good way. Only thing is I would change the title or at least alter it a bit. Maybe replace Pinocchio with something else. Otherwise it's pretty damn good in my honest opinion.
