In The Rain

In The Rain

A Poem by Mr. Q

I walk alone,
In the rain,
No friends,
No hope,
Naught but pain.
The lords of the sky,
Mock from on high,
The thoughts I hold inside,
And the feelings I try to hide.
In vain I avoid the drops,
But the bullets still fall from on top,
From the torrents I can't escape,
For I am but a shade of grey on a colorless landscape,
And the rains of vacuity,
Wash away my humanity,
All that's left is my silent voice,
To live or to die is my only choice.
For I walk alone,
In the rain.
No feeling,
No meaning,
Nothing remains.
Maybe I should just end the pain.

I love it. I want to print it, laminate it and pin it on the ceiling space above my bed
