A Losing Game

A Losing Game

A Poem by Mr Marvelous
"

The only poem I actually liked from creative writing. The phrase down the left is something like Scottish, I think. It translates roughly to, 'goes often awry.'

"

Gauche games of

Abstraction.

Nonchalant words of

Guile.

August gestures

For the benefit of

Tawdry thought.

Asinine meaning in this

Game of insipid

Love. And yet, I am

Enamored by

You.
