Haiti

This was read in front of my whole school..I hope you enjoy it.

The disaster in Haiti opened many eyes.

Something precious as the earth,

Taking so many lives.

The earth sook madly; rough, with great power.

Something that happened in seconds

felt more like hours.

Taking many lives, the rest with little to eat.

Thats why we are helping out this week.

raising money, and awareness,taking a stand and lead. To give back to thoese in need.

This effected people at this school maybe at our own homes.

No one should feel down, because you are not alone.

So lets raise money for this cause.

Keep trying to make a change EVERY DAY!

Were doing this for Haiti cause that the U.S way

this was very nicely worded! the subtle rhymes helped a lot. a few small grammar problems but nothing serious :)
