UntitledA Poem by apocalypse
Almost an era now
And you haven't slept Haunted by your bereaved dream Awake you lay.. string into a vacant road The road prohibited About which you ventured for your wonder The road to "The end" That lies there yonder You haven't since lived The moment 'it' happened The tide that washed it all out The flame you burnt within It's been almost an era now And you haven't slept Terror-struck at the "happening" Lashing back with a brand new sting Slayed by destiny Got no mourners You lay there with questions Dare not seek any answers For the truth would hurt Kill.. in your case But that shouldn't matter your soul already lost its chaste.. In that bargain against life Just listless vitality Humored by deathly solitude A distant wonder at nothingness For that's what's left of you.. © 2009 apocalypse |
