SCHOOL DAYSA Story by MRIDUL MITTALREMEMBERING THE TIMESthe most amazing days of our life when there was no responsibility of real world but a huge tension of completing homework in a given period of time. The days when teachers and principal were considered as greatest enemies of our life We used to fight for silly things with our friends. Our fights were either for the window seat in the bus or for stationary items like pencil or sharpener. But such disputes hardly remain for long time and then we again used to become good friends. Recess which was our favorite time period in school always seemed to be very small. The guy/gal with the tastiest food would be the most pampered one, but only till his/her Tiffin is not completely finished... The days when we used to thought of growing up very soon and always try to imitate like a matured grown-up person In those days we hated our school as it was responsible for our busy life. Today when we pass through our school, we keep watching it and start recalling all the fun that we did in those days Today these moments have become sweet memories of our life. These moments are so beautiful that they make our eyes wet with a smile when we recall it. When we wanted two Sundays and no Mondays, yet managed to line up daily for the morning prayers... When we began drawing with crayons and evolved to Color pencils and finally sketch pens! When we started calculating first with tables and then with Clarke's tables and advanced to Calculators and computers! When cricket was played with writing pads as bats, And Neckties and socks rolled into balls! Gone are the days Of Sports Day, and the annual School Day , And the one-month long preparations for them. Gone are the days Of the stressful Quarterly,Half Yearly and Annual Exams, And the most enjoyed holidays after them! Gone are the days Of tenth and twelfth standards, when We Spent almost the whole year writing revision tests! We learnt, We enjoyed, We played, We won, We lost, We laughed, We cried, We fought, We thought. GONE ARE THE DAYS THAT WILL NEVER COME BACK
