A questioning of the witch hunt trials conducted by social media

Yesterday you doubted my god,

insulted my character,

commented on my race,

laughed at my beliefs.

 

Today, so offended was I

 that I reported your slights,

tried you by mob,

sentenced you by media.

 

Now by tomorrow you will be condemned.

But what will happen when my views conflict

with those ordained the masses?

And who will be free

to stand with me then?

Good point! negative emotions seem to draw bigger crowds.
