Slight Crusade Forward

Slight Crusade Forward

A Poem by Rufus "Mr Blaque" Lacy, Jr
"

We must move a specific direction to complete the achieved lifestyle wanted.

"

As you navigate across a certain route

Catching the wind in-between the folds of your draped cloths

Making sure you are traversing at half mast

Ordering your legs to trek beforth a course

Destine for a long and argues approach with no direction

The insignificant changes of path

Propels you to hoist your colors of confusion

But the crusade guides you onward

I like the sailing references. Moving back and forth, to catch the wind... no particular direction but moving anyhow. I'm wondering about the word 'argues' in the 5th line. I'm thinking 'arduous' might work better?

Thought provoking read dear poet..... I know all to well those problematic crossroads....the nature of the change depends on the direction chosen....Love the message you have so magically woven in this one...:)

Cool! Sounds like me for many a year- often travelled at half mast - going through life with no direction - just a vague idea of where I wanted to go - but knew one day I would find my path and my crusade! Very inspiring stuff....nice!

Following ones desired path, regardless of what they may face, is always the best route. very cool.
