Her cold hands

Her cold hands

A Poem by Mr.BClass
"

Madeline Keitel

"
Her hand was held cold
But no one ever told
It was the guilt
That brought there hearts to a tilt
It was as if they wanted
Yearned death, so they'd be free of the taunted
They never said her name
Beacuse after death, she'd bring them to the game

Who me? I think I like this. My favorite thing about poetry is how one poem can mean so many different things to so many different readers. To me, it speaks of the cost of guilt from bearing silent witness and how that guilt can turn to fear of eventual judgement, however it may come. I think this piece shows that you have a wise perspective and natural talent. Nice job!

Just a quick fix note: when you say "brought (there) hearts to a tilt," it should read "brought (their) hearts to a tilt." :-) Keep writing!
