Perfect World

Perfect World

A Poem by Scooby

Perfect World

By: Nick Workman

Dreaming of a better place

Where my 3 can beat your Ace

Where everything’s different

And I can actually leave without a trace

Start all over, fresh and new

No need to drink or sniff that glue

Imagine a world

With no f*****g memories of you

A 21 year old new born

With no addiction to porn

No addiction to anything

And impervious to the f*****g scorn

I’d surround myself with people

With brain capacity and goals equal

No bullshit or drama

A firm grasp on what’s really evil

If had a perfect world

I’d have a perfect girl

Who wouldn’t be scared

To give love a whirl

I’d have cash in my pocket

To buy that girl a locket

S**t, I’d have enough money

To buy myself a rocket

My tattoos would be finished

Anger problems diminished

No reason at all

To scream, cry, or grimmace

I’d drive a real fast car
I’d be a f*****g rock star

I’d be bigger than John Lennon

And you’d just watch from where you are

But I’m down here on Earth

I have been since birth

In the crowd with you

Trying to firgue out what I’m worth

But I still dream like a kid

As just a blip on the grid

Cuz in reality, they don’t care

About a f*****g thing I did

I dream the opposite

Of this hot pile of s**t

That you seem to call life

Cuz I’m f*****g done with it
