Why?

Why?

A Poem by Scooby

Why?

By: Nick Workman

Why do I have to change

Everything about my being

In order to make you happy?

I wonder what you’re seeing.

Why can’t you just accept me

For everything I do?

If this pain doesn’t go away,

I swear to God, we’re through.

Why do you have a problem

With every move I make?

A relationship of ripples;

I’m caught up in the wake.

Why do you try

To control f*****g everything?

Nothing’s ever good enough;

Something take away this sting.

Why do you need to murder

My character inside?

I can’t stick by you when you snap;

You’re Jekyll and f*****g Hyde.

Why do I feel

Like you’re wasting my time?

Stick in your muck;

Get me out of this slime.

Why do you take

Everything I give

Without appreciation?

I will not forgive.

Why won’t you let me

Leave and be happy?

I’m miserable with you;

You’ve made life so crappy.

Why won’t you f**k me?

I don’t have gonorrhea.

You have more sex when we break up,

So here’s a f*****g idea:

Why don’t you go

F**k a dirty old trucker?

I don’t want you anymore

You stupid m**********r.

Why can’t you see

That we won’t ever last?

You’re too God damn crazy;

I’m leaving your a*s.
