Truth or Dare

Truth or Dare

A Poem by Scooby

Truth or Dare

By: Nick Workman

I’m drawing a blank.

I can’t think of anything.

So I sharpen my shank

In hopes of a killing.

Now, let’s be frank,

You’re life means nothing.

I’m trying just to thank

You for everything

That you have ever done.

Cynically, I laugh.

Killing you should be fun.

Slice you in half;

Wanna hear a pun?

You’ll stand at half-staff.

What fingerprints? What gun?

Who’ll testify on your behalf?

I won’t try to cover

The evidence before me;

I’m proud of my murder.

They can’t ignore me;

Soon they’ll discover

A scene so gorey

That, compared to others,

Would make Jigsaw adore me.

I’m blood-thirsty tonight,

And I’ve got you in my crosshairs.

You won’t try to fight;

You won’t be prepared.

Oh, what a sight!

You’re so cute when you’re scared.

Eyes bleed with fright

From your impending despair.
