Love Blisters

Love Blisters

By: Nick Workman

Your obsession

Makes me sick.

Learn a lesson

From this prick.

He wanted to hurt you,

But you were blinded by love.

Patience is a virtue.

You were sent from above.

He didn’t know

All you could give.

You should just go;

You’ve got your life to live.

Like a store,

Your heart’s out of stock.

He’s just a w***e.

“NOW!” reads the clock.

Take your time,

Get to know yourself.

It’ll be a climb

But at the summit waits someone else.

Hold your head high;

He’s not worth the tears.

Everyone’s passing by;

You need to change gears.

Find your catalyst

To help move on.

Don’t give him another kiss.

You’re just his little pawn.

Take your heart back;

You’ll find there’s perfect.

You survived an attack,

But is your pain worth it?

If you decide to dwell,

Your true love won’t come.

It will be hell

Until your mourning is done.
