Straight Ays

By: Nick Workman

Everchanging days

Shadowed by different greys.

There are so many ways

To escape this maze.

Staring off in a daze;

A very subtle gaze.

You’d think I just blazed,

But it’s just a phase.

Like studying your plays,

Hope all this work pays,

And this feeling stays.

Together we’ll graze

The scorching sun’s rays;

Hold hands, fly over bays.

You clear my haze;

Send me in a craze.

The pain is yeaterday’s.
