Bathory Queen

Bathory Queen

A Poem by Phi Coulthard

She sits on her throne
And looks out across her kingdom
The wicked world of thornes
Bitted and Twisted
Like her view of people
High above us all

She sits on her throne
And looks across her mess
A proud job she did
But not all alone
Her partner and slave
To have abd to hold
That’s what he thinks

She sits on her throne
And watches her sibjects
As they try to Survive
Sp she can play judge
In her fair way
To find them guilty
For her crimes

haven't we all at one time? sitting high on our thrones judging the "lowly" people that just can't for the life of them be "as high up as we are"

this poem kinda makes me feel guilty of my past grimes...mirror mirror on the wall...

Sorry I didn't check for typos when putting it in. I just copied it straight from my Facebook Group

Cheers for pointing that out V.

In the event that you care, there are a number of typos here you may want to fix. "Abd" for "and" and "sibjects" for "subjects," for example.

That aside, I like the last two lines a lot. Interesting (and scary) concept to sit in judgment of others for one's own indiscretions.
