"Just Words"

"Just Words"

A Poem by Michelle Lea
"

Sticks and stones my break my bones, but words will never hurt me.

"

     I've come to realize

that "words" can only hurt you

if you allow them to

     Instead of letting harsh

"words" go in one ear and out

the other

     I actually learned to listen

to the "words" without allowing

them to hurt me

     Why?  Because I know

better than to believe "words" that

are not true

"Sticks and stones my break my bones,

but words will never hurt me...."

Interesting qoute in the prosing ways... We have our ways of learning how to block the pains out in any ways we could... Sure, there are some words can hurt, yet we try out best to deny them...

So, it's pretty simple, yet it sure does mean great deal of protecting self from the unwanted words. Also, here's the quote;

"It's not the words, if you refused to listen..."
