Wrong Fit or Not

We were a wrong fit,

from the start__

we were just too stupid,

to realize it so__

we keep falling apart.

Our families tried to tell us,

but we wouldn't listen__
afterall that's happened,

I wish we would__
have heard them.

I can't help but think,

life's too short to__
live it this way,

still we go on__

day to day.

Wrong fit or not__

we stay together.

Its become a contract ,

stuck forever and ever__
in too deep now,

there's no way out__

All you can do is __

scream and shout.

Two people's,

choices and actions__
effects everyone else around them.

What to do but stay together,

can't break the team up__

that would devastate them.

Wrong fit or not__
that's what we've got.

I like this poem. the diffrent changes of emotion in the poem is great. First you start off in love, then you realize you might not really like this person, and then start screaming and yelling at each other because of your misery. Kind of like a love time line. this couple is married right. the children are the ones who will be devastated. this poem is kind of true for a lot of marriages today.
