A Poem by laura hope

Far away from here, a mirror stand tall against a chipped brick wall.
In its reflection one is only to see me, but faded and switched against reality.
While the blue walls of today surround my first self, green walls crumble caving in thoughts tomorrow. In these walls I hide from you, and them and they, from all of those who swear they'll stay. They look but they don't know of the torn up creatures weeping below.

A clock is perched tall against a full blue wall. Through the mirror, it falls.
Seconds pass into minutes and time turns into the day, but green walls don't have it this way.
With shattered glass all about the floor time doesn't move anymore
Imprisoned in nothingness, left to spectate a blue world forevermore.
They cry but they can't show all they wish and long to know.

I love this poem! :) The rhyme scheme fits perfectly. Every sentence brings more beauty to this piece. Good job!
