Reincarnation.

Reincarnation.

A Poem by laura hope

Carve the earth in pieces with our blade.
Create our life revealed through more pleasant shades.
Monsters, they exist.
We will tackle them down
Leave them to drown
In what they've made of us.

And love, they can't ruin this.
Break through space and time
Pray they don't catch us for this crime.
If the demons drag us to their dens.
I'll serve your time for you.

Plant new seeds in soil with our hands.
Bring new life grown through stronger lands.
Ghosts, haunt us.
We will capture their souls
Break them like charcoal
In the clean air like ashes.

And love, they can't ruin this.
Break through skin and bones.
Like spirits we'll linger from here truly alone.
When the sky swallows us both up whole.
I'll wait in the clouds for you.

Do not shake as they lower us in the ground.
We will meet again in the next lives we've found.
Soil, surrounds us.
We are to become its friend.
One of its own in the end.

And love, they can't ruin this.
Break through cries and fear.
Be born again and soon shed your first tears.
When you are ready we will meet again.
Again my life, my love, my friend.
