its complicated

at first i was unsure of you.

You were a bit intimidating,

strange, even scary.

then i got to know you.

the you i know is different from 

the you you present to the world.

you are sweet, but playful.

funny but sad.

and protective as all get out.

even when you are

getting under my skin;

irritating me.

and i enjoy it!

every minute of it,

weirdly enough.

this could be both beautiful

and terrifying at the same time.

either way, you are still amazing
