mixed emotions

I'm about to leave home for real and i'm terrified of the changes, the what-ifs, and the what could have beens

i think about this,

the closer it comes;

the inner turmoil it's causing.

I'm excited,

almost exuberant,

about taking this chance and going.

at the same time,

fear and questions  linger....

ever-present in my mind.
