do not go. stay. please stay.

do not go. stay. please stay.

A Poem by Addie Santos

There are trees lines
on my skin
making up your name
and the ocean in my ears
coming back and forth
on the shore with thoughts
of you slamming the door
while I stood there,
crying and begging for you
to stay.

I understand this poem. I was the leaver and the one being escaped from. Your description was real and powerful. Tears and begging for things loss and wishing for things that can't be found break our heart. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
