Insanity

Insanity

A Poem by Michele

My melancholic
disposition
has the best of me.

Who am I
but a mere
dose of insanity?
Collapse into this shell
of hollow words
and thoughts.
I'm not who I ever intended to be.
How can you love me
When I'm not me?

Two of my old poems revised, edited, and meshed together like old puzzle pieces. A poem hybrid, if you will.
