Something

Something

A Poem by Michele

Her eyes are dark circles,
Reminding her of her sleepless nights.
She covers it with makeup and hides herself.
She knows what it's like to want to die,
To want to truly end your life forever.
But there is something keeping her here,
It's hard to grasp, but it's there.
And she is alive.

first of all, I assume the potential of the poem as I understand it is betrayal and bashfulness, she may feel ashamed becuase the speaker's words are all menancing and vindictive in a way that kind of beefing the current compared to the past. all in all that was how I figured it out, it is my personal view as it may mean different. best luck.
