old poem i wrote

You are like the sun,
Burning every last part of me,
Damaging my eyes.

You are like the winter,
Your personality has become cold.
And yet, you still send shivers down my spine.

You are like a hollow shell,
Once someone touches you,
You cave in and shatter.

You are like the water,
You are shallow, like the kiddie end.
You are endless as you dive further in.

In the end, I can't see your face anymore.
I have blocked it out, not to start a war,
But to give me some peace of mind.

so good! lol .... i had to do a triple back with the first 3 lines i thought really?? did i read that right ?? i love it ... aawwww u are like the sun expecting something all romantic and you just wide open truthed it thank-you for being so real and for ur truths in this piece...I think my favorite is the you are like the water you are shallow like the kiddie end lol!!! I had one of those 2 we split... after 5 years in the kiddie pool it became clear that was as deep as posable for them ... i really enjoyed this it truly made me lol and put a huge smile on my face ...i am looking fwd to reading the rest of ur works..i have to say this one has a rap battle feel to it in a GREAT way hope u dont take that the wrong way u got skillz !!
