Come Home

Come Home

A Poem by Michele

Mommy don't leave me.
I just want you to know,
It was sad for me to watch you go.
I miss you so much,
You don't even know.
This killed me Mommy,
I'll never be the same. Mommy, come home.

Mommy don't leave me.
It was sad for me to see you lying there
With tubes in your nose.
You're in a better place now,
Or so the story goes.
Mommy, I love you and always will.
I'll never be the same. Mommy, come home.

Mommy don't leave me.
I miss you all too much.
Daddy tells me it was meant to happen.
You were needed elsewhere, they needed you as such.
It's not fair they did this to you Mommy.
I want you to come home.
I'll never be the same. Mommy, come home.

Mommy, you left me.
I can now let you go.
You are still my Mommy,
Daddy tells me so.
I forgive you Mommy, you did nothing wrong.
You were sick Mommy, and now you're gone.
I'll never be the same. Mommy, you can go home.
