Loves Circle

Loves Circle

A Poem by dawn aulis

Loves circle

You breathe out, and you breathe in,

I hold my breath, as you touch my skin.

Do you know, how much this means?

Catch my breath, as my world beams.

Seems surreal, that you are here,

You love me still, now it seems clear.

I hold on tight, to the one I love,

Say my prayer to the one above.

Come full circle, back to this place,

Where we are held in loves embrace.

So please breathe out, and I’ll breathe in,

You are my breath, please touch my skin.

Don’t hold back, I am yours,

You know the truth, I always was of course.

The truth revealed in every touch,

You are the one, you mean so much.

I gave me up so long ago,

Thought it was over, I did not know.

You hold my heart, like a crown,

Wear it always, never put it down.

When I was lost, did not see you round,

Closed my eyes and it was you I found.

So here we are, in this perfect place,

Just the two of us, what sweet grace.
