Beautiful Child

Beautiful Child

Another about my daughter

Beautiful Child

Wonderful  spirit, beautiful smile,

You are my world, my timid child.

Sometimes peaceful, sometimes headstrong,

You mean so much, with me you belong.

Hold my hand, and my heart,

Don’t let go, my work of art.

Sing me songs, my little friend,

Love me more, don’t let this end.

Kiss good night, kiss at dawn,

With each smile, a light is shone.

I see forever with each touch,

I hope you know, you mean so much.

Changed my life and my world,

My most precious gift is you my girl.

Full of spirit, full of smiles,

Because I have you, my beautiful child.

I have written so many about her that she tires of them, but yes I do share them all with her.
