The Accident

The Accident

A Poem by MorganBlair
"

This is all true. I was in a car accident monday, and this is my story.

"

Just another day off to work..

Its wet and Raining,

Cars passing by, she saw her opening,

she took it...

The back of her truck went one way that she couldnt controle,

she couldnt stop what was about to happen...

Silence. terror in her eyes just as she hit.

Glass shatters, Metal bends, Cuts appear,

all within seconds...

panic washes over her,

Climbing to the passanger side,

Shes trapped, both doors are jammed shut...

She starts to scream..

What if no one comes to help her, What if shes seriously injured...

Questions racing throughout her mind.

Cars continue to pass by her as if nothing happend at all, as if they cant see this big blue truck front end in a telephone pole.

She has her cell phone, but is too hystarical to talk to her mom...

People appear, constintly telling her to calm down...

How was she suppose to calm down when she just hit a telephone pole and she can see and feel the blood sliding down her arm?

More and more hystarical she becomes...

Ambulance arrives to put her in a stretcher,

She can hear her mothers crys in the distance.

Its Raining Again...

Shes taken away to the ER...

Luckly for her shes only cut and bruised up,

but her 82' GMC Classic Chevy, her baby, her dads prized Truck is destroyed,

But it saved her life during the accident..
