Dreaming

As I sleep,
I see you there.
I smell your scent,
I see your stare.

I hear your heart,
I see your eyes.
We're standing still.
The world flies by.

I come close,
You run away.
You dissapear.
I wish you'd stay.

Stay with me,
Don't ever leave.
I'm begging you,
Down on my knees.

Don't leave me here.
How can it be?
I run to you,
Again you flee.

But I know,
You'll never stay.
You'll leave me here,
And go away.

Now it's me,
I'm all alone.
Wishing you
Would come back home.

Out of my dream,
I miss your face,
I miss your smile,
Your embrace.

I wonder now,
When will it end?
When can I be
Happy again?

I wonder too,
If you miss me,
And if I'm ever
In your dreams.

But now I go,
Back to sleep.
Back to you
As I weep.

Oh my, what a beautiful surprise, yes, thats the kind of poetry I love most , short lines, simple words, just to the point ... once a I hear a famous poet say : "If you have something to say, say it simple" ... your lines "shuting" ... the pain after he left is still here ... come back at nights, on your dream ... Very entertaining poem and i really enjoyed it. Very creative on the structure and rhyme scheme. But on your 10th stanza the rhyme scheme was gone. On the 7th stanza, the last line is missing a word and it felt incomplete I think it should be "Would be back home". Either way this is a terrific poem despite all the small errors. Keep writing
