My Life as a Book

Written years ago as a school assignment.

From a quiet lonely world on the shelf in section three,
People wander by not caring about me.

Finally someone comes along and opens up the pages,
Brings to life another world of laughter and amazes.

When they're finished reading all the pages about me,
They quietly place me back on the shelf in section three.
