The silence of a beating heart

heartbreak,that we all have lived through,no matter what reason or why or rhyme.

My heart is broken,silenced by love

never to mend

I donot believe it can

The hurt it pulses through every vein

searing and tearing through all it claims

 

Blackness seaps in with every beat

Threatening to take my very soul within its withered hold

Leave me sitting by my window tryng to look pass the glass

But only seeing the emptyness that stares back

 

Never have i felt such strong overbearing emotion

I wish could just flip a switch,turn it off

and these feelings would dissapear

 

Feel nothing more

 

Just carry on 

 

Waking as if it truly was a brand new day

No thoughts of you by my side only to cause chaos in my mind

 

As of yet ,there is no escape from this pain that radiates

from every pore and every cell that screams while my heart is ripped out by your chains

I am alive

less than what i once was

living with the silence of a beating heart
