To God I Sing

To God I Sing

A Poem by Summer R

To God I Sing
Filling up with sound,
my voice is to carry far off the ground
To god i sing a song of weary
I'm sorry that we took your trust
only to be bound by lust
I know you weep to hear our cries,
but our lives are ours to decide
To chose the path we have taken
only carries us farther from our true destination
By your side we should be,
but no one truly believes
Thank you for the choice,
but please forgive our selfish voice
