When I say I love you.

When I say I love you.

A Poem by moosicphreak

Still I hold you here

Whisper into your ear

Try to assauge your fear

and pretend I still love you

Still the truth remains quiet

And my mind is in a riot

but still you seem to buy it

when I lie and say I love you

When I say I love you

I hate myself a little more

When I say I love you

It shames me to the core

Because I used to love you, I used to say it with such conviction as to make God tremble.

But now those three words, that horrible emotion's oath and symbol,

they are as empty as the promises we made to last forever.
